Earworm is a party game for people who LOVE music! Earworm is suited for groups of all shapes and sizes and can be played anywhere! In everything that VStheUNIVERSE produces, a healthy amount of music is infused into its creation. We developed Earworm for the music-lover, the karaoke rockstars, the band geek, the shower singers,...We made this game for ANYONE who loves music. We know you'll love it too!
Players have 30 seconds to vocalize a song to their team using any sound they can muster up with one rule: you can't use any lyrics!

Hey there Earybody!
It's been about a month since Earworm has shipped out from our Michigan warehouse and we're so pleased with the progress we've made so far!
As of this writing, all of the ship-to-home orders have been fulfilled except for a few orders that were returned to us due to incorrect address info.
"What if I didn't pick up my game at a Local Pick-Up Event?" Then we're super sad that we missed you! We had a BLAST meeting, greeting, and delivering games to our backers in person! Still, we know things happen. We just submitted an additional order to our warehouse to send out the remaining games that were not picked up in person. So, if you chose Local Pick-Up and weren't able to make it to an event, you should be getting your game next week!
(NOTE: If you didn't complete the BackerKit survey, then you didn't pay for shipping! That means you need to do that before we send your game out!)
"Hey! Where's my theme song?" We won't be delivering the songs until they're all done. We're working on them! I've heard a good amount of them (hey! it's Aaron!) and they're all rad so far!
"Where are the how-to-play videos? They're not on the website yet." We are currently looking for time in our schedules when we're all available to shoot and edit the how-to-play video. Once it is done we'll notify backers and update our website!

Local Pick-Up continues today!
If you opted for the Local Pick-Up in your BackerKit, then we've got a copy for you waiting to be picked up at Bonus Round Game Cafe tonight! Yesterday we began our first 3-hour block of pick-ups, and they continue tonight starting at 6pm and ending at 9pm. If you aren't able to make it tonight, then our final Local Pick-Up block will be next Wednesday, May 29th, from 6pm to 9pm at Bonus Round Game Cafe. Come out and see us! We'll be signing games and chatting with backers as long as we're able! Bonus Round is located at: 3230 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60657
Fulfillment update!
It appears as if all US orders are out for delivery, or have been delivered already. w00t! All non-US orders are currently being delivered to their respective countries. We expect the rest of the completed BackerKit orders to be delivered by this time next week. If you have any issues, feel free to message us!

Shipping is commencing...SOON!
This is it! Earworm games will be in your hot little hands very soon! The ship carrying the games arrived in Los Angeles late last week and they're currently en route to our warehouse with eFulfillment Service now! The games should arrive in the warehouse on Wednesday, at which time they'll be unloaded and accounted for in their system. Then, they'll be picked and packed and begin shipping out to people across the world!
If you are in the US, you'll be receiving your game via USPS. If you are outside of the US, you'll receive your game in an Ascendia packet. We cannot guarantee specific timetables, but we believe that shipping from our facility will begin next week. Tracking numbers will be e-mailed to the e-mail address you entered in BackerKit so you'll be able to follow the progress in real time.
NOTE: If you did not complete your BackerKit survey then we are unable to ship your game immediately. We'll ship it out as soon as we have your info! We will be sending reminders to backers who have not completed their survey to do so. If you don't get a reminder then you're AOK!
Local Pick-Up Orders Info!
If you elected to do a Local Pick-Up, then we've got news for you! We have secured THREE dates where Chicago residents can pick up their games from us at Bonus Round Game Cafe at 3230 N Clark Street in Chicago, IL. They are:
Sunday, May 19th - 11a-2p
Monday, May 20th - 6p-9p
Wednesday, May 29th - 6-9p
You can chat with us, get your games signed, and then head home to play with your friends!

NOTE: You'll only be able to pick up your game if you completed your BackerKit survey. If you did not complete your BackerKit survey then you will be receiving an e-mail from us.
OK but what about the theme songs?
We've got 4 dates on the books for the team to get together and actually RECORD the songs. We've been spending some time the past few weeks writing lyrics, putting together backing tracks, and generally figuring out the process for doing the production. This week we begin to put it together!

For real, fill out your BackerKit if you haven't already!
We're fast approaching the day when Earworm will be arriving in the US and we've working with our fulfillment company to get the games on your doorstep! We will be sending out a reminder e-mail from BackerKit today. You will receive one if your survey has not be completed. Unless your survey is completed, you won't get your game! It's as simple as that. You don't want to be left out in the cold, so fill it out if you haven't already.
What if I haven't answered my survey yet? Well, you should! (REALLY! You need to do that!) Please try and complete your survey ASAP. If you have not completed your survey by the time we lock them down, it might delay the shipping of your game. Not the whole shipment, but your game specifically. Everyone else will be playing and you'll be like "hey where is my game? OH NO I DIDN'T ANSWER MY SURVEY!" Don't be that human. Currently 43 backers are being those humans.
What if my address changes after lockdown? You can continue to change your address up until shortly before we are ready to ship. Please make sure you update any changes to your shipping address in your BackerKit survey. Changing your address in Kickstarter or messaging VStheUNIVERSE will not guarantee that it gets updated where it needs to be -- in BackerKit.
What if I chose the Local Pick-Up option? You still need to fill out the BackerKit so we know that!
We need the BackerKit surveys to be completed by April 29th to ensure that you get your game!
Update on Theme Songs!
We're looking at having all of the theme songs done by mid-Summer. With travel, weddings, and out-of-town work, there's very few precious days where the whole Earworm team will be together and able to record songs. We've got a roadmap that we'll be sticking to for the rest of the creation process, and we're certain you'll love what we've cooked up for you.
Local Pick-Up Dates (Chicagoans!)
We've been in communication with Bonus Round Game Cafe in Lakeview and we're nailing down a few dates for backers to come pick up their games. We should have dates by the end of the month but there will be a few options both on the weekend and weeknights. We're so excited to see you all there!

Not much else to say! The games have left the printer in China and are now on a boat! It takes approximately 6 weeks for the boat to reach America and to push through customs. At that time the focus will be on our friends at eFulfillment to deliver the games to your doorstep! Which is why it is VITAL that you read the next part...
